- What is Globo?
- Globo is a camera-first travel app from Hot Forge Studio. Point your phone at a place in front of you; Globo identifies the landmark and shows its history, audio, and a map of what you have discovered.
- How does landmark identification work?
- A scan sends your photo and location to Globo’s identification service. The photo is turned into a visual embedding used to match the place. Your original photo stays on your device for the place card; it is not kept as a server photo library.
- Where does Globo work?
- Globo is built for exploring cities on foot — from major monuments to neighborhood buildings. Available in English and French, made in Paris by Hot Forge Studio.
- Is Globo free?
- You can start discovering with free scans. Globo Pro unlocks unlimited scanning and richer history through Apple or Google subscriptions.
